Sitting Shortens Your Lifespan

This might be me stating the obvious, but yes: it is unhealthy to live a sedentary lifestyle. If you don’t believe it, the proof is in the science. Past research has identified correlations between spending more time sitting and an increased risk of developing chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. I assume that everyone remembers learning back in high school biology that our bodies are made up of around 70% water. This fact alone should make it clear that it’s important for us to maintain hydration. Think of water as the the key to the vital functions that are necessary for our survival. Such functions include shock absorption for the central nervous system and joints, waste disposal, digestion, and cell reproduction. Want to know what else water plays a role in?
